Welcome to
the Campbell Electric Website
We at
Campbell Electric Company would like to thank you in advance for
taking the time to review our qualifications for any of your
upcoming projects. We feel that choosing our company for the
electrical work on any project would be an asset to yourself and
the other contractors during all phases of construction.
Campbell Electric began
in the electrical construction industry in 1923 as Industrial
Electric Service Company in Aberdeen. At that time the company
was involved with the conversion of most of the Twin Harbors
area mills from steam to electricity as the primary power
source. Over the years the company grew to be a thriving parts
distributor as well as electrical contractor.
In 1969 it was decided that
the distribution and construction divisions should have their
own identities. The distribution division retained the name
Industrial Electric Service Company while the construction
division took the name Campbell Electric Company in honor of the
founder Walter Campbell. Since the name change, we have expanded
our reputation of being the premier electrical contractor in our
region. Much of our work is still related to the wood products
industry and revolves around sawmills, pulp mills, paper plants,
and log yards. However, do perform work in other types of
facilities including; public safety buildings, jails, schools,
hospitals, shopping centers, banks, office buildings, highway
lighting, municipal treatment plants and area lighting. The
WSDOT has pre-qualified us to bid on both Traffic Signals and
Illumination as a prime contractor as well as a subcontractor.
We also have a panel wiring shop with UL 508 Industrial Control
Panel accreditation.
For our customers who do not
have plans and specifications we have capability to do design
build work. Additionally, we do service work to help our
customers maintain their facilities in top order.
Campbell Electric is a
union contractor and a member of the Southwest Washington
Chapter of NECA. We are an equal opportunity employer and a drug
free workplace. Our crew consists of a nucleus of fifteen to
twenty IBEW electricians with additional manpower drawn from the
hall as our workload demands.
